It's interesting, and not entirely what I was imagining when you told me about it.

I'm not surprised. There isn't a description that can do the Blue Badger justice! It just has to be experienced for itself. And now you have! [He places a hand on the badger's shoulder proudly.]

I'm glad I was able to put this baby together so well, e-especially with all that weird stuff that was happening!

The dance is pretty accurate. [She felt the need to add that but then he brings up the whole ghost thing.

She coughs a bit awkwardly.]

Y-yeah that was very weird, and not fun at all. It's good to see you got out of it okay.

[He does smile as she compliments the dance at least! And then he nods gravely in turn.]

Thanks, pal. It sure was an out-of-body experience alright. ...But I ended up back in one piece in the end. I'm glad that you're alright, too. That - that faulty app didn't mess with you more, did it?

[Ah, a touchy subject. Because Lapis kept playing in some vain attempt to see if she could help Gumshoe out. Not that she'll say that.]

Ah, well I did keep playing with it. Up to a point. [When she got ghosted too.]

Oh yeah? [He frowns.] I'm sorry you had to keep dealing with that game then! A-and I hope the other rounds went better, and that there weren't any unfair glitches. Boy am I glad that game's out of our hair now! [He just has trouble actually feeling the joy at this moment.]

It's fine! Everything turned out alright in the end so, yeah. [She chuckles a little before realizing one thing.]

Oh uhm, would you like to come inside? [A change of subject but also it's a bit awkward talking out in a hallway.]

That's good! [He says, full of hope. He might have had a rough time... but at least Lapis was alright?

And he responds to her sheepishly.]

Oh - yeah, sure! Can the Blue Badger come in too? [He says as he moves around in front of his creation.]

[Yup, everything is hunky-dory. She'll open the door a bit wider and step aside to let Gumshoe and the badger come in.]

Sure, don't mind the mess.

[It's the normal living arrangements that newcomers get to pick from, except in Lapis' case there is a section of the main area that is a total mess of junk and trash. Her art supplies, which are noticeably not containing anything sexual as she had to learn that those aren't for art. But other than that most of the furniture looks barely used.]

[Gumshoe lifts the badger, not bothering to turn it off, and carries it through the doorway before setting it down and taking a look around.

It's not often that he visits the home of a girl he knows, especially one who - likes a lot. So he's a bit nervous as he looks around.]

S-so this is what it's like inside the artist's studio, huh? [He says with a chuckle.] ...It's nice! You got a nice place here, Lapis.

[He takes uis trenchcoat off and sets it on the Blue Badger. He does notice the empty seat, but opts to just stand there awkwardly while looking around the room.]

Yeah! [He claps his head together in an attempt to dispel the awakwardness.]

Sooo... Aside from that whole mess... How have things been?

[Yeah the clap didn't really help.]

Oh uh. Fine? I've been working on stuff, met some new people. You know, just doing things.

[Oh yeah, she forgot about some books she had been reading. To help her maybe get how things are on Lunatia, they're books on sexual anatomy. She hopes Gumshoe didn't notice those, as she tries to discreetly hide them from view. With her body.]

Good! Good. That sounds like good stuff, pal! [But he did happen to catch a glimpse of the books just before she moved in front of them. But not a good enough look to tell what kind they were.]

And it looks like you're reading, too! Anything good? [He could use some good reading material!]

[Why'd he have to ask about the books? Lapis starts blushing a little, as she tries to keep the books hidden still.]

Oh uh, nothing that special. I'm pretty sure you'd already know about the subject. [Just going to try and find something to cover the books with expect all her sheet like objects are in the pile of junk. Or the bed room.]

Oh yeah? [His expression lights up. Sounds like a good chance to show off!]

What are they about then? If you need any help with the material, I can give you pointers!

[Oh no. Oh nooooooo. Lapis grabs one of the books and she's somewhat tempted to just show Gumshoe and get this over with so, taking a deep breath she holds it up.]

It's anatomy. [The cover of the book she grabbed isn't coy about the subject either.]

O-oh. [As he takes in that title, he turns red and shrinks back sheepishly.]

So, uh, d-doing some studying about us humans, huh? ...G-good for you, pal! All the more power to ya!

Y-yea-- [She checks the book she grabbed and she almost drops it. Why couldn't she have grabbed one of the more science-y books?!]

S-sorry I thought it was a different one! [Just trying to shove it back into the pile, instead knocking all of the books onto the ground. As Lapis' face turns the darkest blue it's ever been from blushing.]

Oop! L-lemme help, pal! [It feels like the least he can do. He scurries over and reaches blindly to pick up one of the books.]

It - it's okay. Nothing to be ashamed of, pal! I... I get how being in a place like this can make you, um, curious about things!

Ah, n-no it's fi... [She's also going to try and grab the books, in a vain attempt to keep him from seeing any more. Which she fails at as he gets one book which is more focused on male anatomy.

And now Lapis is just going to bury her face in her hands.]

[He picks up the book and makes the mistake of getting a good look at it. With a book about something that shares a name with him, Dick turns redder. He nearly drops the book, fumbles it a little bit, and then meekly holds it out towards Lapis while averting his eyes.]

...H-here ya go.

Th... thank you. [Just going to gather them all up now and hold the books to her chest because it'd be rude to just run to the bedroom and toss them into it.

Also, they're library books, she doesn't want to wreck them.]

Sorry... Sorry about this.

[She almost, almost, says that maybe he should leave but she's just to flustered to actually say it.]

No, I'm the one who should be sorry! [He says with a quick shake of his head.] I poked my nose where it didn't belong. I- I didn't mean to embarrass you like this!
