[Gumshoe does let her ramble on about the show, even if he feels like he only understand half of it. It doesn't sound like a show he'd watch on his own, but he feels sold on it just based on how Lapis describes it. Or maybe it's just her speaking so passionately in general that gets his attention! It's definitely cute how much she cares for the show, and he smiles softly when they reach a stopping point.]

Huh. I never heard of it... but it sounds nice. Those campers, they sure get up to some wacky mischief!

[It's most certainly no Steel Samurai or Jammin' Ninja, but hey Lapis enjoys it and to her, that's what matters.]

It's a good show, although season five is kind of eh. [She holds out a hand in the so-so gesture when she says the word "eh", unlike some of her friends she doesn't find the fifth season to be complete trash.]

Well, the last time I got wild I dropped a barn on one of the leaders of my people.

Not really. I was just helping my friends, and if I was going to be treated like a traitor I might as well be one for real, you know?

How'd it feel? Dropping the barn on them, I mean.

[Mostly it's the whole being mistaken for a Crystal Gem and being shoved in a mirror that's a touchy subject. The whole barn thing was, well, of her own choosing.]

I was helping out my friends, so good I guess? It wasn't really the time to be focused on feelings and such.

... Depends. I'd also have to find a barn no one was using to drop on whoever it is.

[Not that Lapis needs money, but she can humour Mercury for the time being.]

Heh. I don't watch too many shows, but there's one Sunday night drama I like a lot! It's called "All My Cops". It follows the story of a detective and a prosecutor who have this super tight bond! It's heart-wrenching and inspirational, pal. [He doesn't have as much to say about his show, but he's not much of a fanboy in general, at least of tv shows.]

[Even if it's not much to say, Lapis can tell it's a show Gumshoe enjoys watching. Even if it's not to the same degree as she is with Camp Pining Hearts, she'll listen to him talk.]

Inspirational, huh? [She's hoping he'll go further along that train of thought because it's got her a bit curious.]

Uh-huh! [He nods simply.] I'm a detective, after all, and I work with prosecutors all the time. Especially Mr. Edgeworth! We're like a classic crimefighting team, relying on each other and doing our best to put crooks behind bars! [He raises his dukes for dramatic effect!]

Although sometimes you've put not crooks behind bars.
